A mock trial involving 20 pupils from Crawshaw School’s ‘Make the Grade’ initiative will take place in the old courtroom at Pudsey Town Hall, on Friday.

Local law firm Pudsey Legal has specially designed the fake criminal trial, which will give students a chance to bring the legal process to life and engage them in researching and playing various roles in a real courtroom setting. Pupils will be making the trial as realistic as possible by dressing up in barristers’ wigs and gowns.

In advance of the mock trial, the students attended an introductory session at Pudsey Legal’s offices on Bradford Road where they met the lawyers and received information about the trial and the roles available.
