A Baildon primary school has been praised for its teaching and learning as well as the behaviour of pupils in a recent Ofsted inspection.
Inspectors judged Glenaire Primary School to be good, praising good teaching and learning. They also said they felt the teachers prepared interesting materials that help pupils learn well. The inspection has upgraded the school from satisfactory at the previous inspection.
The report said: “Teaching assistants provide good support to pupils who need extra help with their work” and that “pupils enjoy school and are treated with respect.”
Inspectors found that pupils “work hard to improve the quality of their work” and that they are “safe and well looked after due to the care and diligence of the adults who work in school”.
Headteacher Andrew Soutar said: “We are delighted with this report as it reflects how we see the school. Everyone has worked hard to bring about the improvements which have led to Glenaire being judged good.”
