Education watchdogs have praised a primary school for its teaching, learning and pupils’ behaviour following its latest inspection.

Glenaire Primary School in Thompson Lane, Baildon, has been judged “good” in a report by by Ofsted inspectors – upgrading the school from “satisfactory” at its previous inspection.

The report stated: “The leadership team has a strong focus on developing good or better teaching. This has had a positive impact, improving pupils’ achievement.”

Head teacher Andrew Soutar said: “We are delighted with this glowing report as it reflects how we see the school. Parents, pupils, staff and governors have all worked hard to bring about the improvements which have led to Glenaire being judged good.”
