A Bradford gallery is holding an art-burning bonfire to coincide with a preview night next month.
The South Square Gallery, in Thornton, has invited participants to bring in artworks or objects they would like to see become “fire sculptures” on Friday, November 2.
The bonfire will be held in the gallery’s courtyard from 7.30pm.
Anyone is welcome to submit combustible artworks old or new.
The gallery has said it is looking for pieces which will look particularly good in flames.
Artworks must conform to the following safety considerations; maximum size of one cubic metre, no toxic or explosive materials, entire piece must be flammable.
To enter please e-mail details of the artwork to gallery@southsquarecentre.co.uk or call (01274) 834747.
