Man, 20, injured in 'mindless' Bradford Moor Park attack
9:50pm Friday 12th October 2012 in News
Mindless ruffians left a man with fractures to his face after an unprovoked attack.
The 20-year-old victim was repeatedly punched by a gang who picked on him without reason as he sat on a bench in Bradford Moor Park.
The man suffered a broken cheekbone and a fractured eye socket and had to undergo surgery.
Three of the gang had asked to look at the victim’s mobile phone, but it was not stolen. A group of men made off towards Silverhill Road when police arrived.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which took place at around 4pm, on Sunday, October 7.
The suspects were Asian and in their late teens. One is described as being of medium build, around 5ft 8ins tall with a Mohican-style haircut. He wore a grey sweatshirt and jogging bottoms.
Anyone with information should contact Bradford South CID on 101, or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
