Town councillors are asking Bradford Council to “brick- up” disused public toilets amid repeated calls to re-open them.
Ilkley Parish Council this week agreed to write to the local authority asking for the toilets at the front of the King’s Hall, on Station Road, to be walled-up.
The toilets have been closed for a number of years and estimates have indicated it would cost tens of thousands of pounds to refurbish them for public use.
There have been calls for them to be re-opened, as there are no public toilets in nearby Ilkley station.
