Nuns have been on the run in Yeadon to promote a comedy being staged in the town.
A group of five ‘nuns’ were out and about highlighting Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society’s production of Nunsense, a rib-tickling comedy with songs running at Yeadon Town Hall from October 10 to 13.
Featuring foot-tapping songs and wacky dance routines, it serves up laughs thick and fast, delivered by a cast of five headed by Kath Williams as the Mother Superior, supported by Jane Collins, Joanna Clark, Emma Fearnley and Caroline Auty.
“It’s an evening packed with laughs, a perfect night’s entertainment for the beginning of autumn as nights begin to draw in,” says director Paul Chewins. For tickets ring (0113) 250 5587.
