More than 200 young performers from Stage 84 will be taking to the Alhambra stage in a magical new production of family favourite Peter Pan.

The show boasts spectacular sets and costumes – and Peter Pan, Wendy, John and Michael will all fly across the stage.

Principal Valerie Jackson says the youngsters playing the four main characters have been taken on rock climbing sessions to get them used to heights.

“Children playing mermaids have been filmed underwater at Eccleshill swimming baths for shots to be used in the mermaid sequence,” adds Valerie.

“There will be prizes for children in the audience who attend the theatre in costume.”

The show runs at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, from October 4 to 6. For tickets, ring (01274) 432000.
