A man was arrested in an armed police operation after reports of a gunman making threats in Bradford city centre.
The operation yesterday morning was led by officers from Bradford South CID, supported by firearms officers.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We received information in relation to a dispute between two parties in Bradford city centre and reports that threats had been made by a man in the possession of handgun.
“Officers from Bradford South CID subsequently undertook an operation at Crawford Avenue in Odsal and arrested a 21- year-old local man on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
“He is currently in police custody.”
