Bradford gardener David Sugden is top of the crops.
Mr Sugden, of Lingwood Road, Manningham , has been named overall winner of this year’s Manningham and Girlington in Bloom Awards.
And he also won the medium-sized garden category in the contest after impressing a panel of judges with his eye for colour.
The contest is an annual event run by Bradford Community Environment Project.
More than 30 gardens were up for the 2012 awards which Gail Smith, one of the organisers, said was a good result.
She said: “David’s garden was like a vibrant sea of colour. He made good use of trellising for climbing plants, had container plants and even had a mix of vegetables in there. He’s certainly a worthy winner.”
