A driver involved in an accident on Keighley Road, Kildwick , was uninsured, a court heard.
Caroline Allan, 44, had just bought the Audi TT on June 18 when she was involved in an accident with a BMW, Skipton magistrates heard.
Allan, of Rishton, Lancashire, pleaded guilty by letter to using a car without insurance.
Her licence was endorsed with six penalty points and she was fined £200 with £45 costs and a £15 victims surcharge.
