All the people who helped make this year’s Guiseley Carnival a success are being given a big thank-you.
The event, which attracted an impressive turnout, raised more than £1,700 towards the annual senior citizens’ outing.
Guiseley Senior Citizens chairman Marian Ealham said this year’s trip on July 29 would be to St Anne’s.
She said: “I would like to thank everyone for their support this year, and I would like to thank the committee members. They have all been absolutely brilliant.”
A senior citizens’ coffee morning will take place at the guide hut from 10am to noon on July 14.
Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the work of the group, or in joining the committee, should contact Marian Ealham on (01132) 509932.
