Rush hour motorists faced motorway misery this morning - but traffic has now started to return to normal.
A broken-down vehicle on the eastbound M62 between junction 26 at Chain Bar and junction 27 at Gildersome caused long queues at around 8am.
On the M62, very slow traffic stretched back beyond junction 25 at Brighouse.
Meanwhile, motorists trying to leave Bradford to head for the M62 were having to queue the entire length of the M606.
Matrix signs on the motorways stated that a ‘stranded vehicle in lane three’ of the M62 was responsible for the delays.
However, traffic has started to return to normal.
