Telegraph & Argus delivery agent Wendy Allison has come up with a novel way of re-cycling her unwanted plastic bags.

The 47-year-old, who lives off Wakefield Road, Bradford, has spent the past four years on and off re-using the blue bags the newspapers are delivered to her in – to weave stylish garden fences and a gazebo covering.

“It was trial and error in the early days getting the thickness right for the walls but it’s looking good,” she said.

It’s a beautiful colour, there’s no other garden like it and it hasn’t cost me a penny,” she said.
