A 19-year-old Leeds man has been arrested after a Bradford police officer was punched in the face.
PC Dave Almond, who recently joined Queensbury, Royds and Wibsey Neighbourhood Policing Team, was helping investigate a suspected drug-dealing incident when he was attacked.
The officer suffered a cut below his eyebrow and required hospital treatment. The arrested man has been freed on police bail.
