Firefighters are warning people to be careful when throwing away cigarette ends and matches after a snicket fire.
A crew from Odsal was called to Southmere Road, Great Horton, after a resident saw smoke over a garden fence on Friday at about 7pm.
It turned out to be a smouldering fire caused by a dumped cigarette.
