Eastburn Junior and Infant School is set to build a games area after securing a £10,000 lottery grant. It has been given the money by the National Lottery to build a multi-use games area.
Staff will soon appoint contractors to build the area on the school field. A school spokesman said: “This will add to our PE, playtime and fun zones and make for healthier and happier children.” The school’s next major fundraising campaign will be for a new reception and key stage one cloakroom.
