A 22-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent and the possession of an offensive weapon in connection with an assault on 66-year-old Keith Alder, who later had his legs amputated following complications.
Mr Alder was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, and later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, following the incident in Sowden Street, Great Horton, Bradford, on Saturday, October 22, last year.
The 22-year-old Keighley man was due to appear before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court today.
