Postcard-sized artworks that were inspired by Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights will be exhibited in six libraries across the Bradford district.
A Postcard to Emily will display more than 70 miniature artworks that were inspired by the classic novel.
The winner of the competition – as judged by Andrew McCarthy, director of the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth – was Jessica Taylor. She received a selection of prizes including books and free tickets to the Bronte Parsonage Museum for her text and embroidery postcard.
The exhibition dates are: Keighley Library – until Thursday, May 3; Bradford Central Library – from Saturday, 5 until Thursday, May 24; Clayton Library – from Saturday, May 26 until Friday, Jun 1; Ilkley Library – from Saturday, June 9 until Friday, June 22; Shipley Library – from Monday, 25 until Friday, July 6; Manningham Library – from Saturday, July 7 until Saturday, July 21.
