DM Academy members on stage at St George’s Hall before appearing with Strictly Come Dancing stars
Young performers have been treading the boards in Bradford with stars from Strictly Come Dancing.
A group of 45 children at DM Academy in Shipley joined Katya Virshilas and Pasha Kovalev, professional dancers on the hit BBC1 programme, for a show at St George’s Hall.
The show was an evening of dance and conversation, with the audience invited to put questions to the dancers.
They performed various dances, and youngsters from the DM Academy joined them for two routines, a Seventies medley and a street dance.
“They were so excited about dancing with the Strictly stars,” said principal Deena Morgan.
