Shipley MP Philip Davies, pictured, is calling on residents to give their views on a location for a pick-up point for post as Royal Mail announced it would close three of its delivery offices.
Delivery offices in Bingley, Shipley and Bradford West will be closed and operations will be moved to the Bradford North office in Inkersley Road.
However, Michael Hogg, Royal Mail’s public affairs manager, said in a letter to Mr Davies that the company planned to set up a “local facility” in the Shipley constituency. That might be at an existing post office in Shipley or Bingley.
