Army bomb squad officers have carried out a series of controlled explosions at a Bradford farm following the discovery of a cache of weapons, including two live grenades.
Police discovered the grenades and a number of memorabilia weapons during a search of the farm in Toftshaw Lane after they were called to reports of a domestic assault.
Up to three explosions were carried out this afternoon in a nearby field by the bomb squad on some of the items found to make them safe.
Eighteen people were earlier evacuated from the area following the discovery.
The searches of the premises were continuing into this evening.
Bradford South Acting Superintendent Mark McManus said: "The initial searches uncovered a number of decommissioned military memorabilia, however, two live grenades were also located and a controlled explosion took place to make these safe.
"There is no immediate threat to residents and we will be continuing our searches into the evening to ensure no further devices are on the site.
"A 36-year-old man remains in custody and will be interviewed by officers in relation to the finds."
