Bradford College is hoping to create another world record by creating the world’s biggest samosa.

Colin Burt, the head chef at the College’s International Food Academy, has announced the joint bid with Prashad restaurant.

No previous Guinness World Record is held for the biggest samosa in the world so the team is hoping to set a new precedent.

This announcement comes months after the college broke the Guinness World Record for the biggest bhaji. The belt busting bhaji weighed in at a whopping 102.2 kilograms.

The academy will play host to the National Finals of the UK’s Junior Curry Chef Competition on April 3. The cooking competition will see budding young ‘master chefs’ being pushed to the extremes of their cooking abilities in the battle to be crowned National Junior Curry Chef 2012.
