Woman, 34, killed in collision on Mayo Avenue, Bradford

A 34-year-old woman died after being hit by a car as she crossed Mayo Road near Morrison’s Supermarket last night.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was crossing the road with her friend, near Manchester Road, when she was involved in a collision with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution at 8.30pm.
Three men from the car, aged 34, 30 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remain in police custody this morning.
It is not known whether the victim died at the scene and police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team on (01924) 293047.
