There will be tribute fun in Otley this summer, when the Fake Festival Tour hits the town.

Glastonbury may be having a break this year, but festival fans needn’t fret – some of the best tribute bands around, including The Fillers, Four Fighters and Kings Of Lyon, will be taking to the stage, along with five local support bands.

Hosted inside the Fake Festivals marquee, the full festival vibe can be soaked up without that pesky rain getting in the way. There will also be food stalls, face-painting, a bucking bronco, a bungee run and bouncy castle.

“The 2012 tour is the biggest to date and we’re delighted to be stopping off at Otley,” says Jez Lee, founder of Fake Festivals.

“Our bands not only sound like the real thing, they give such a good performance, you may as well be watching the real band themselves.”

Adds Trevor Hurley, frontman with The Fillers: ““We can’t wait to perform Mr Brightside, When You Were Young and Human, plus loads more – we’ll be bringing a bit of Las Vegas to the festival!”

The festival comes to Otley on June 2. Tickets are available at fakefestivals.co.uk or from Wharf View News, Game Trading, Premier Wrenbeck News in Otley and Aire Valley Guitars, Keighley.
