A man suspected of carrying a gun through Bradford city centre was arrested by a police officer using a baton.
Officers received reports of a man in Centenary Square, Bradford city centre, at 2.24pm today carrying what was believed to be a gun.
Police have said the gun was an imitation firearm.
A 19-year-old man was arrested in Great Horton Road on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and was in custody this afternoon.
