The newest addition to Bradford’s skyline is continuing to take shape.
Construction of a £3 million hotel in the city centre is nearing completion.
The Travelodge hotel (pictured), in Mill Street, close to the Royal Mail sorting office, is due to open in April.
Barnfield Construction is the company developing the 69-bedroom hotel and shops scheme. Yesterday, contractors were hard at work at the prominent site.
The development is set to create 15 jobs and add up to £1 million a year to the local economy.
Businesses close to the site say they hope it will boost regeneration in the area. The hotel will take up the majority of the five-storey building.
