John Duffey
Kind-hearted donors who contributed thousands towards John Duffey’s life-saving surgery are preparing for another major fundraiser tonight.
Well-wishers helped to raise nearly £11,000 after Mr Duffey, 28, suffered a brain haemorrhage four days before his wedding in Greece.
The event at 7.30pm at Keighley Cricket Club will help pay for his care while he recovers in hospital. It has been organised by the Bradley bowler’s colleagues in the Craven and District Cricket League.
The event will feature comedian Dom Thomas, a raffle and charity auction. Tickets are available on 07837 940825.
