A main road has been closed in both directions following a serious accident.
Initial reports suggest that two vehicles were involved in the collision in Bradford Road, Birkenshaw.
The A651 Bradford Road is closed in both directions near its junction with North View Road.
One commuter, who saw the aftermath of the crash, said: “There’s been a massive accident on Bradford Road. One of the cars is a real mess, so much so that you can hardly tell it’s a car. Its sides look to be all ripped off.
“There are loads of police here and an ambulance.”
