Police have made a second arrest after a terrifying raid at a Bradford petrol station earlier this week.
A 23-year-old man from Bradford was arrested in the early hours of this morning in connection with the armed robbery at the Shell petrol station in Haworth Road, Chellow Heights.
The robbery happened at 4.40am on Wednesday when a masked man, armed with what is believed to be a shotgun, walked into the garage’s shop and demanded money from the cashier.
A shot was fired into an interior wall but no-one was injured in the incident.
The man remains in custody for questioning by detectives. Meanwhile a 27-year-old man arrested yesterday in connection with the incident has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 101.
