Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a Bradford petrol station today arrested a 27-year-old man.
The suspect, from Bradford, was being held in custody for questioning about the raid at the Shell petrol station in Haworth Road, Chellow Heights, early yesterday.
A shot was fired at a wall after a male cashier initally refused to open the till.
After forcing him to handover cash the gunman escaped in a silver Ford hatchback.
Police have further appealed for information about the robbery, which occurred at about 4.40am.
