Police are appealing for information after thieves stole lead from a church.
The theft, at Gospel Temperance Community Church on Smithies Lane, Birstall, is thought to have occurred in the week before it was reported to police, on Friday, December 23.
Detective Inspector Andy Leonard, of Dewsbury CID, said: “Tackling metal theft is a top priority for us and we have launched a number of operations across West Yorkshire to deal with the issue.”
