Two men have been convicted of taking part in a large-scale heroin and cocaine trafficking plot involving three men from the Bradford area.
Shanawaz Nazar, 29, of Broom Road, Rotherham, and Anthony Horsfield, 34, of Zetland Road, Doncaster, were found guilty by a jury at Bradford Crown Court yesterday of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Mohammed Shaukat, of Allerton Road, Bradford, Abuhassan Rehman, of Peckover Drive, Pudsey, and their courier, Mohammed Azeem, of Toller Grove, Heaton, Bradford, have all pleaded guilty to their roles in the conspiracy.
All the men were arrested in a police surveillance operation that ended with the seizure in the summer of 2010 of more than £20,000 worth of cocaine and a large sum of drugs-contaminated cash.
The conspirators will be sentenced in the new year.
