Plans for a social enterprise centre to help disabled people were given the go ahead yesterday by Bradford councillors.
The scheme by Bradford charity Bradnet could be up and running by the end of next year and will form the organisation’s new headquarters.
The eco-friendly project was praised by members of Bradford Planning Panel at a meeting in City Hall.
The site on Avenham Way used to be owned by the Council and was occupied by Milton House, a residential care home.
Eleanor Marshall, of Bradnet, said: “Our aims are to improve enterprise activity for disabled people and reduce unemployment for disabled people.”
