Pupils and teachers have been celebrating after achieving Fairtrade status.
Guiseley School has held a series of events during the past year all promoting fair trade, including organising a community event.
Other events included a football tournament using Fairtrade footballs and stalls selling chocolate and biscuits.
Yesterday a lunchtime party was held for the school’s Fairtrade committee and members of staff to celebrate their new standing.
Head teacher Paul Morrissey said: “It is a great achievement for the school to be awarded this award.”
