Budding movie-makers are celebrating after their work was chosen for screening at a Bradford festival for young film-makers which is one of the biggest in the country.

And it was another success for media studies students at Ilkley Grammar School, which had more successful entries into the Co-operative Young Filmmakers Festival than any other UK school or college.

The event at the National Media Museum in Bradford, tomorrow and Friday features the pupils’ films called Waxed, Wrenched and Sleep Tight.

All the selected films, which are six minutes long or less, are from youngsters aged 19 or under.

For tickets, call the museum box office on 0844 856 3799 or go to co-operative.coop/filmfestival.
