Regulars at a pub are raising a glass to its new owner after it was saved from possible closure.
The Monkey, in Great Horton Road, Bradford, was due to be sold at auction this year prompting fears among drinkers it could be converted into homes or shops. A group of locals got together to discuss buying it themselves.
But when Tommy Brown, landlord of The Junction in Baildon, heard the former Enterprise Inns- owned pub was up for grabs, he snapped it up.
