Mobile phone antennae are to be fixed to a listed parish church in Thornton despite nearly 400 objectors to the plan.
Six antennae and equipment will be placed around the bell tower of the Grade II-listed St James’s Parish Church, Thornton Road, after the go ahead from planners yesterday.
