Three Bradford projects have been awarded a share of £1.7 million by the Big Lottery Fund.
Horton Housing Association’s Training Centre received £355,698 as part of the Lottery’s Reaching Communities programme and Bolton Woods and District Community Centre Association’s Helping Families Succeed project was awarded £285,634.
Bradford City FC Community Foundation also received just more than £53,000 to fund its Second Half project, which uses football to engage marginalised people and help them improve their health and skills and become actively involved in their communities.
