A science historian will give adults the chance to learn about past scientific ideas about alcohol during his Drinking-up Time event during the festival.
The Beehive Inn will host the event on Saturday, September 10, from 7pm to 8pm, as part of the Sundown Science series of events for adults.
The event, organised by the British Science Association’s History of Science Section, will look at how scientific understanding and the status of scientific ideas have changed over three centuries in relation to drink.
