Colin Todd is fed up of playing musical chairs with the strikers.

He wants to name the same City attack every week - but can't.

Todd's team selection for tomorrow's clash with Swansea will once again be dominated by the question: Who will partner Dean Windass?

The Bantams boss again faces the choice between on-loan David Graham and Eddie Johnson. It has become a regular dilemma that he could do without.

Graham has started five of the seven games up to now but has lasted the full 90 minutes only once. Having regained the jersey from Johnson at Brentford last week, he was again subbed by his rival late on.

"I don't want a rotation system," said Todd. "But I have to do that at the moment because they haven't shown that consistency.

"Eddie came off the bench against Crewe and did well and then played the full game at Carlisle. But that might have taken a bit out of him when we played Rotherham because he didn't seem sharp.

"But then David has been in a similar position as well. When they've come off the bench they have both made an impact but I'm looking for them to throw something at me which says that I can't afford to leave them out.

"I'd like to say that him and him are going to be the partners. But we have hit that little grey area because the consistency is not there."

Todd also stressed that Wigan target Windass would come under pressure if he allowed his own standards to drop.

"I want to partner someone with Deano for now but if he has a loss of form it could be those two playing together quite easily.

"People think Deano is one of the first names on the team sheet. But if I felt he wasn't doing his job the right way then I wouldn't be frightened to make him suffer like the rest of them."

Todd admits he is envious of Swansea's spending power.

"We're limited to what we can do at this football club. I try to convince the chairman it's right to bring in other bodies but convincing him is very difficult."
