First Daughters of Eve conference to be held at Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Bingley
8:50am Monday 18th April 2011 in News By Tanya O'Rourke
Muslim women in Bradford have organised what they believe to be the first national residential conference of its kind in the city.
All women are welcome to attend the Daughters of Eve conference at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, in Bradford Road, Bingley, from Friday, May 6, to Sunday, May 8.
The conference has been organised by the Bradford Muslim Women’s Council (BMWC) and the Islamic Society of Britain.
BMWC director Wahida Shassi said: “It features renowned theologians and it is about the amazing work Muslim women are doing up and down the country.
“It is really important for us to exchange ideas with one another and hear about experiences of women throughout the UK.”
Women who attend the conference will be able to watch a production by Bradford theatre company Arakan Creative and a performance by the Poetic Pilgrimage group. There will also be workshops and discussions.
Mrs Shassi said: “From housewives to professional women, it is for everyone, recognising their roles within families, communities and business.
To inquire about booking a place at the conference, phone Nuzhat Ali on 07432 704858 or e-mail nuzhat.ali@bmwc.org.uk.

This is good news, and in my opinion is indicative of the larger shift in human consciousness now taking place as we transcend the masculine-orientated Piscean Age into the Feminine-orientated Aquarian Age. The conference title of the 'Daughters of Eve' is also very apt in that respect, as the Piscean Age is/was esoterically the domain of the Sons of Cain !
Are you saying women equal or better than men, that's what this conference is about?

What I mean is the emergence of the Divine Feminine, which pertains to men and women, but is driven by the Feminine aspect of Consciousness, as opposed to the masculine-driven aspect of Consciousness of the Piscean Age ushered-in by Jesus Christ ("I bring a sword"). It's the New Age beginning to manifest itself in terms of earthly affairs. See: 'The Light Bringer' by White Eagle Publishing.
