Four men have been arrested and quantities of suspected Class A Drugs recovered during a series of raids by police in Bradford.

Officers executing search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act forced their way into six flats near Manchester Road early yesterday.

They were reacting to complaints from residents about alleged drug dealing taking place at the flats in Taunton House, Windsor Court and Hapsburg Court.

Officers used police dogs to help them conduct thorough searches at each property.

Drug-dealing paraphernalia was discovered in one property as well as a large supply of needles in another. An officer received medical treatment after being pricked by a needle during the search.

Three men were arrested for drugs offences and last night remained in custody.

The fourth man, arrested at Taunton House, was wanted in connection with a theft in Manchester.
