Keighley’s Christmas lights burst into life last night, heralding the start of a programme of winter fun.
Joining the crowds to enjoy the spectacle on Church Green were Keighley Cougars players, who were giving away festive prizes.
And keeping everyone entertained was The Pulse radio’s breakfast show presenter Becky Holmes.
Among the fun to come will be Keighley’s Ice Weekend, on December 4 and 5, when people can try out an outdoor ice rink and watch ice art skills and take up the challenge of discovering a trail of ice sculptures by internationally-renowned Jamie Wardley.
There will be a Christmas Fair with a chance to try mulled wine and a hog roast, buy seasonal gifts from charitable organisations and attend the annual Manorlands Christmas Fair being held on Church Green.
