A community arts project in Silsden is going to offer children the chance to learn about “pieces” of the town’s history.
Beginning in November, pupils at Hothfield Junior School will work together with people from 12 different community groups to create a giant 12-piece jigsaw. The project is the brainchild Hothfield headteacher Ruth Leech.
She said: “Silsden is blessed with so many different societies and this project will help our children know more about what goes on in the town.”
