A teacher at a Bingley Catholic school has been arrested in connection with alleged online offences.
Keiran McAndrew, 31, from Shipley, was arrested yesterday following what is believed to be information passed from North Wales Police and BBC documentary-makers to the West Yorkshire Force.
It is believed Mr McAndrew is an IT teacher and special needs co-ordinator at St Joseph’s RC Primary School in Crow Nest Road, Bingley.
The alleged offences are believed to have come to light during the making of a television documentary.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said a 31-year-old man remained in police custody yesterday.
On the school website Mr McAndrew is listed as holding a BA (hons) PGCE.
Neither head teacher Mary McAndrew nor anyone from the school was available for comment.
