Bradford business icon Sir Ken Morrison will officially open the new £12m extension at Bradford University’s School of Management next month.

The former boss of Morrisons will launch the School’s redevelopment, including the new Sir Titus Salt building at the Emm Lane complex.

The development has been completed after nearly two years and includes a 92-seat management course teaching room, a new library and resource centre and extra tutorial rooms and offices.

Sir Ken will open the site after the School’s annual summer lecture. In a break with tradition, this will be given by the retiring dean, Professor Arthur Francis on the theme of ‘Profits, Performance and Well-being: How business schools can make a difference’.
