Five-piece Irish folk legends Four Men & A Dog (pictured) last appeared in Bradford in the 1990s.
On Friday, the day the World Cup starts in South Africa, the boys are back in town – at Saltaire’s Victoria Hall, to be precise – to score a big hit with their fans.
Concert organiser Simon Heginbotham said: “We’ve been trying to get the band to play here since the first Saltaire Live show in 2003. Seven years and more than 50 gigs later, they’re coming at last. It’s going to be worth every minute of the wait.
“With such a selective touring schedule, it may be another ten years before Four Men & A Dog return to West Yorkshire, so catch them while you can.”
Friday’s show starts at 7.45pm. Tickets are available from Fanny’s Ale House, Saltaire, or from (01274) 588614.
