Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire which tore through a flat in a Bradford tower block.
Two fire crews from Odsal were joined by firefighters from Bradford and Shipley at the 13-storey Hapsburg Court, off Manchester Road at 11.50pm last night.
The blaze is believed to have started in the lounge of the first-floor flat.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to check inside following fears from neighbours that the couple who live there were inside.
However, Odsal watch manager Andy Mason said the first-floor flat was empty.
The blaze caused major damage to the lounge and severe smoke damage to the rest of the flat. Housing provider Incommunities was finding the couple alternative accommodation.
