Children from a run-down Skipton estate have taken matters into their own hands.
Fed up with litter and a lack of community spirit, the children decided they would do what they could to improve things.
Now, the future is looking bright for Simbach Close after the children got busy with their paint brushes.
And the youngsters have been praised by town councillor and chairman of Skipton in Bloom Robert Heseltine as future community leaders. He said it was just what the town needed.
